You may have already taken classes… but have you ever been told where this dance comes from? Why it's danced this way? How to listen to the guitar, the güira, the bass, or the rhythms that give it its identity?
This workshop is an immersion in Dominican culture, through the practice and understanding of bachata.
For 3.5 hours, we will explore:
✨ The roots of the dance: Bolero, Merengue & Son.
📖 A brief history of bachata.
🕺 The basics & the Dominican flow.
🎶 Musicality, instruments, rhythms, and footwork.
💬 Practical application and time for discussion.
The goal isn't just to learn steps, but to understand what you're dancing.
Whether you're a beginner or have been dancing for years, this workshop will help you develop a deeper connection with the music, the culture, and your own movement.
A practical approach, enriched with cultural and musical insights, accessible to everyone.
I can't wait to share this experience with you. ❤️
